TestApproved launches, offers a new, on-demand way to test web pages and entire sites quickly at low cost
TestApproved is for use by independent web designers, SME and large Ecommerce operations, digital agencies and public sector website developers
Wakefield, July 5th 2016. Businesses are now able to test small and large sections of their website quickly and cost effectively thanks to TestApproved – testapproved.com – which launches today. An affordable alternative to costly traditional testing projects, TestApproved has individual page tests from as little as £50 and end to end checkout tests all the way up to full site testing conducted by experienced, UK based testers.
TestApproved provides a new, on-demand way of testing by dispensing with contracts and briefs and allowing customers to pick and choose online what they want tested – and giving them the option to purchase different testing credit bundles. The offering includes bigger discounts on larger credit bundles. Alternatively, customers can pay as they go without purchasing credits.
“The service is a perfect solution for digital agencies to outsource to because it provides a healthy balance between flexibility, resource management and price sensitivity,” says TestApproved Managing Director James Hepton.
“Traditional human testing of web pages can be time consuming and come with briefs, specs and high costs. TestApproved is the complete opposite. It’s quick and inexpensive making it ideal for checking a website or any part of it prior to launch or after an update.
“And by not being tied to a contract, customers can pick and chose from a menu whenever they want and at any time in the 24-hour cycle, without having to worry about contractual obligations.”
Testing reports are delivered through the website’s easy to use bug tracking service with every customer having its own private access. Customers have the option to be emailed every time a new issue or bug is found or a recommendation is made.
Hepton says, “We’ve worked hard to bring something to market that allows people to test the most commonly changed elements of their site easily and cost-effectively, with no time wasted on briefs and contracts. TestApproved is a genuine breakthrough in bringing on-demand, commonly required testing solutions to the mass market.
“Our test menus are produced and conducted by experienced people who have been building websites their entire career. As a result, we’re able to make recommendations around content, structure and general best practice.”
Hepton adds, “While our core products are complemented by a fully bespoke test creation for larger orders, the primary focus of TestApproved is on reducing the cost of everyday testing requirements. We all know how tight resource can be sometimes when having to get multiple projects over the line but too often critical testing gets overlooked. With TestApproved it needn’t be.”
A free trial without obligation is available at testapproved.com offering free credits to experience the process before making any commitments. “TestApproved can help make websites better with unbiased, fresh eyes,” says Hepton. “Our free trial allows users to find that out for themselves, at no cost.”

April 27th 2016. York. People tracking apps from Vismo Tracking Solutions were used on used on two recently completed expeditions – Levison Wood Walking the Himalayas, and The Amazon River Run – to show their support teams where they were, allow visitors to the website of the Amazon expedition to track progress at any time and enable Channel Four to identify Wood’s location 24/7.
Both expeditions started in 2015 and employed a combination of the Vismo app on their smartphones and the RockSTAR Satellite Tracker for those areas where there was no mobile phone coverage.
It’s not the first time Vismo has sponsored and supported expeditions this way. In December 2013, British explorer and former parachute regiment officer Levison Wood started his nine month, 4,250 mile expedition along the Nile, through six countries, from its source to its delta in Egypt, with the Vismo app on his mobile phone.
Last year he set out from Afghanistan on a 1700 mile – or four million steps – trek along some of the most stunning but inhospitable terrain on the planet, in the Himalayas, again supported by Vismo.
In South America, Olie Hunter Smart and Tarran Kent-Hume kayaked the entire 4,000 miles [6,500km] length of the Amazon, the world’s longest river, in support of charities – the children’s muscular dystrophy Duchenne Children’s Trust – http://www.dc-trust.org – and the universal primary education Limited Resource Teacher Training – http://lrtt.org
They could be tracked live at http://www.amazonriverrun.com thanks to the RockSTAR and the Vismo app identifying their position every hour. They were also helped by NASA – which has provided them with flooded rainforest data – and other sponsors.
Says Colin Dale, head of business development, Vismo, “The RockSTAR is ideal for the expedition environment as it offers truly global coverage using the Iridium Network and has a battery life of more than 2500 transmissions from a single charge. And it’s waterproof, which is ideal when you’re spending months in a kayak. In conjunction with our app it can pinpoint an individual’s position very accurately.”

February 25th 2016. York, UK. Vismo, the Global Tracking Solutions specialist, has been awarded a patent for its technology for GPS tracking on mobile devices. The company previously had a patent pending and has now secured a full patent for its unique operation.
The awarded patent, GB2470376, specifically covers the design behind the algorithms and innovative operations of the Vismo tracking software to optimise location accuracy with minimal battery drain.
The algorithms use a combination of metrics from the phone such as speed, GPS, network information and cell tower locations to determine optimal accuracy for locations from the device, without incurring the large battery drain usually typical of GPS tracking applications.
Fundamental to the approach is how Vismo utilizes the functionality of mobile devices, minimising the use of navigational sensors by placing them into hibernation between pre-determined intervals and using environmental information to quickly locate a device without lengthy GPS warm-up periods. Ultimately, this produces a chronological “trail” following a user’s location point-by-point on a map.
Colin Dale, Business Development Director at Vismo says, “We have always prided ourselves on the unique operation of our app and we are delighted to be recognised as owning the technology. One of our key USPs is maintaining such comprehensive and accurate international tracking while stretching battery life as much as possible.”
Vismo is available across all major mobile platforms including iOS, Android and Windows. For more information visit www.vismo.com.

Dinamiks Ltd announces Dinamiks HR Absence Management, a cloud-based tool that can also be used for human resource planning, improving employee performance – and presenteeism
Posted in Dinamiks on November 18, 2015
– Optionally links to the company’s employee performance management solution, Dinamiks Lite –
November 18th 2015. Chichester. Dinamiks Ltd has announced the cloud based Dinamiks HR Absence Management, designed for use with all kinds of absence – holidays/leave, sickness, training and compassionate leave included. Priced at £1 per employee per month, it’s unique among staff leave planners because it can be linked with the company’s employee performance management solution, Dinamiks Lite.
The tool simplifies staffing processes and can also be deployed for human resource planning, enabling the user organisation to plug resource gaps caused by absence in order to meet business needs and customer demands. The optional integration with Dinamiks Lite allows absence to be measured against performance and a picture to be built up over time of an individual’s or team’s performance.
“Likewise, patterns of sick leave can be compared to performance over the same time scale, enabling the employer to take action, within the boundaries of employment legislation, where it sees fit,” says Dinamiks Ltd Managing Director Simon Barnes. “The action can be counselling, training, giving warnings and improving performance.”
Other capabilities of Dinamiks HR Absence Management, which costs £1 per employee per month, include tracking absence entitlements and flexible working arrangements, and providing better organised absence records.
“Because of what it can do, including the linkage to Dinamiks Lite’s capabilities, it’s an all-encompassing package for busy SMEs and HR departments,” says Barnes.
Highly customisable within an easy-to-use environment, Dinamiks HR Absence Management can also be used for managing presenteeism, the catch-all description for employees working while sick. “Considered by some to be the opposite of absenteeism, presenteeism – and its positive, negative or neutral effect on an individual’s performance – can be tracked, analysed and managed as effectively as absenteeism,” says Barnes.
A free trial of Dinamiks HR Absence Management is available via http://dinamiks.com/HRTrial.aspx

Cellhire says new 4G MiFi will revolutionise how construction site offices operate in the absence of phone lines
Posted in Cellhire on September 4, 2015
September 4th 2015. York. Cellhire, the UK-based leader in international mobile telecoms solutions, has announced a 4G MiFi – a mobile, wireless router – that will revolutionise how construction site offices operate in the absence of phone lines.
“Many building sites have an office centre but no phone lines. Our 4G MiFi offering enables multiple smartphones, printers, tablets, laptops etc to be used just as they are in a traditional office,” says James Hepton, Head of Online & Marketing, Cellhire plc [cellhire.co.uk]. “On-site offices can have high speed phone line quality data communications and web access when they use a SIM with the MiFi.”
Where there is a poor or no 4G signal, the MiFi reverts to 3G. Further flexibility is provided by Cellhire’s SIMs, which come in 5GB and 8G sizes and can be hired for any number of 30 day slots.
“Construction companies can keep their MiFi and SIM for as long as they like on a rolling contract, which, given how long some construction projects can take, is a big benefit to them,” says Hepton.
The MiFi bills the user the monthly fee until it’s no longer needed and is returned. Cellhire’s SIMs are among the keenest-priced – and, in parts of Europe and internationally, the lowest priced – giving users a wide range of SIM options to choose from to suit their budget and destination.
The Cellhire 5GB UK SIM costs £19.99 for 30 days, and the 4G MiFi £19 for 30 days. The 8GB UK SIM is £29.99 for 30 days. Both SIMs are 4G when used with the MiFi, except if the MiFi has to revert to 3G. The prices include VAT, making them cheaper for VAT registered construction companies.

SIMsmart Prepaid re-launches its low cost Europe SIM card for students, tourists and frequent travelers to Europe: a market-leading offer with the lowest rates and great flexibility
Posted in Cellhire on July 21, 2015
July 21, 2015. Garland, Texas. SIMsmart Prepaid, part of the Cellhire Group of Companies, has re-launched its Europe SIM card with the lowest rates, higher data allowances and all incoming calls from anywhere in the world now free instead of $0.35 a minute. The card comes preloaded with $20, helping to make this a market-leading offer.
The card not only saves money but also offers superb flexibility and worry-free texting, calling, surfing the web, using apps and uploading photos to social networks – all without shock bills. The SIM is particularly good with the iPhone, compared to an Android, because it behaves so seamlessly/fluidly, thanks to the Apple OS in the phone. With an Android there is a slight delay when callback is initiated; not with the iPhone.
“SIMsmart Prepaid arrives ready to use and takes the worry out of using a phone in Europe,” says Greg Kraynak, CEO, Cellhire. “The number of countries, different tariffs and network providers can be confusing and make using a phone for any purpose expensive. We make it easy and low cost. We guarantee that.”
The card is preloaded with $20 credit, accepts free incoming calls across Europe from anywhere in the world, has simple call-back connections for peace of mind and ease of use, features three-in-one [Standard, Micro and Nano] and comes with a 14-day money back guarantee. In addition, delivery is free, recharging online is easy and the SIM can be used in other countries, too, not just Europe; 170 in all.
“All our SIM offerings protect customers against shock bills and the complexity of the cellphone market in Europe – and are backed up by unrivalled online support,” says Kraynak. “We are able to offer very low rates in Europe because our long-standing presence there enables us to negotiate them for our customers.”
Cellhire’s global network coverage and range of travel phones, SIMs and data offerings provides the cheapest way to call home when abroad – and cost effective data roaming when abroad. SIMsmart Prepaid was established in 2011 and operates within the Cellhire Group of Companies.
Formed in 1987, Cellhire is a specialist global service provider. Cellhire’s success is built on providing the very best wireless solutions available anywhere and they pride themselves on being easy to do business with. Cellhire is a leading supplier to organisers and businesses during events such as the Olympic Games, FIFA World Cup, UEFA Euro finals and The Cannes Film Festival. Cellhire’s most recent major event as a supplier was 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil, where it provided voice and data solutions across the country. June 9th 2015. York. Cellhire plc, the international mobile solutions specialist, has opened a new office in Sao Paulo – its first in Brazil – to capitalise on the expanding Brazilian market and build a platform to serve its global customer base for the Olympics that the country will host in 2016. The event will be used as a springboard to further establish the new office and gain a strong domestic foothold for business after the Olympics. Last year Cellhire, which is headquartered in York, delivered more than 14,000 connections at the FIFA World Cup as both business and media descended on Brazil for one of the biggest events in the world. Since then, the company has laid the appropriate foundations to maximise Brazil’s next big event in 2016 and capitalise on the growing Brazilian market. Cellhire will be offering voice and data connections, supporting live reporting from Rio to news desks around the world.
Martyn Stevens, Director of International Business Development at Cellhire, says, “Our new office in Brazil is a fantastic opportunity for Cellhire to break into Latin America and build on the back of our success at the FIFA World Cup. With the launch of Not Actively Looking, search firms and executives join forces to make the Perfect Match
Posted in Not Actively Looking on May 21, 2015
May 21st 2015. Not Actively Looking – the global “matchmaking” platform that enables senior executives and executive search firms to make the perfect match – has launched in London.
The company was founded by Joseph Blass, who previously founded and led the sale of Toucan Telecom to Pipex plc, and Anthony Harling, a seasoned search consultant and former Senior Partner at executive search firm Heidrick and Struggles.
“Not Actively Looking is unlike any other existing or previous job site. It is not a job board, it is not a public social network and it is not a useless database of raw CVs. Not Actively Looking meets the real needs of executives and the search firms like never before,” says Blass. “It allows executives to discreetly manage and update their CV for the benefit of executive search firms handpicked by themselves, away from the prying eyes of their colleagues, employees or employers. Executives no longer need to chase individual search firms by email with copies of their CV. For search firms, the service means they can access and retrieve relevant and up-to-date information about executives. Search firms will no longer need to enter and store CVs which become outdated very quickly and from which they were never able to easily retrieve information such as aspirations or key achievements.” Blass adds, “Many executives have been keeping their up-to-date profile on services like LinkedIn. But because LinkedIn is publicly accessible to anybody, they couldn’t share the information that the search firms are really looking for.”
“Our approach is very different to anything that has been done before,” says Harling. “Executive search is driven 100% by client assignments, meaning that executives will be approached by search firms, not when the executive is looking for a role, but when the client is looking to fill one. In turn, this means that executives need to be exposed to the relevant search firms even when not actively looking.”
Blass and Harling offer this message to senior executives: “Even if you are not actively looking right now, you should still keep your trusted executive search firms up to date, because you never know when or where your next job will come from. NotActivelyLooking.com includes its own unique search retrieval tool that makes it much easier for the search firms to quickly identify you when it’s handling a search that precisely matches your skills and aspirations.”
Not Actively Looking is growing rapidly and has secured the collaboration so far of 25 senior level executive search firms with presences in North America, Europe and Asia/Pacific. Those firms include The Miles Partnership, Norman Broadbent, Calibre One, and Osprey Clarke. Although the majority of executive search members reside in North America and Europe, the company has registered executives from over 40 countries reflecting the truly international nature of the business.
Sue O’Brien OBE, Managing Director of the leading high-end search firm Norman Broadbent, an early adopter of Not Actively Looking, says “At Norman Broadbent we are really excited about the creation of Not Actively Looking as it is a great service for senior candidates who want to manage their profile with confidentiality. Not Actively Looking is a fabulous improvement compared with open social networks which most senior candidates avoid for that very reason. Our candidates have responded really positively to the service, in particular female candidates who avoid the existing methods as they are time consuming and too public.”
