January 29th 2014. Buckingham-based Black Dog HR Consultancy Ltd has signed up as a Channel Partner of Dinamiks, the cloud-based, online appraisal and employee performance management tool that can also provide support for employee development planning [EDP].
The agreement with Dinamiks’ UK developer, Dinamiks Ltd, of Chichester, allows Black Dog HR to market the tool locally, nationally and globally to existing and prospective clients, as a state-of-the-art solution for performance appraisal, performance management, EDP and talent management.
Says Black Dog HR director Gill Craik, ”Our decision to become a channel partner of Dinamiks was based on a number of factors, including (i) the potential we saw for the system to improve appraisal processes with a number of our clients (ii) the continuous development of Dinamiks based on both channel partner and user feedback, which enables it to work even more effectively for users through the addition of new features.
“Other factors included ease of use and intuitive structure, cost effectiveness and the ability to customise text and personalise the screens,” adds Gill. ”Customisation and personalisation are a key advantage of Dinamiks because they enable clients to know that time and thought have been dedicated to them rather than feel they have been subjected to a one-size-fits-all approach.”

Says Gill, “Following turbulent years for some of our clients during the recession, it has become clear that there is an increased appetite among companies to develop their staff and a willingness by them to invest in ensuring the process is as effective as possible. We identified a computer and/or web-based system as the most effective way of doing this and began looking for a product that would fulfil requirements in the SME market.
”Our key drivers were that the solution should be cost effective, easy-to use and intuitive – and doesn’t try to turn an appraisal process into something more complicated than it needs to be. We wanted to avoid a system that comes with unnecessary facilities, which increase costs and have limited additional benefits. Dinamiks came the closest to meeting our requirements.”
