Dinamiks Ltd announces Dinamiks HR Absence Management, a cloud-based tool that can also be used for human resource planning, improving employee performance – and presenteeism

– Optionally links to the company’s employee performance management solution, Dinamiks Lite –

November 18th 2015. Chichester. Dinamiks Ltd has announced the cloud based Dinamiks HR Absence Management, designed for use with all kinds of absence – holidays/leave, sickness, training and compassionate leave included. Priced at £1 per employee per month, it’s unique among staff leave planners because it can be linked with the company’s employee performance management solution, Dinamiks Lite.

The tool simplifies staffing processes and can also be deployed for human resource planning, enabling the user organisation to plug resource gaps caused by absence in order to meet business needs and customer demands. The optional integration with Dinamiks Lite allows absence to be measured against performance and a picture to be built up over time of an individual’s or team’s performance.

“Likewise, patterns of sick leave can be compared to performance over the same time scale, enabling the employer to take action, within the boundaries of employment legislation, where it sees fit,” says Dinamiks Ltd Managing Director Simon Barnes. “The action can be counselling, training, giving warnings and improving performance.”

Other capabilities of Dinamiks HR Absence Management, which costs £1 per employee per month, include tracking absence entitlements and flexible working arrangements, and providing better organised absence records.

“Because of what it can do, including the linkage to Dinamiks Lite’s capabilities, it’s an all-encompassing package for busy SMEs and HR departments,” says Barnes.

Presenteeism

Highly customisable within an easy-to-use environment, Dinamiks HR Absence Management can also be used for managing presenteeism, the catch-all description for employees working while sick. “Considered by some to be the opposite of absenteeism, presenteeism – and its positive, negative or neutral effect on an individual’s performance – can be tracked, analysed and managed as effectively as absenteeism,” says Barnes.

A free trial of Dinamiks HR Absence Management is available via http://dinamiks.com/HRTrial.aspx

New training module for Dinamiks, the online employee performance management tool, helps gain IIP accreditation

September 19th 2014, Chichester. Dinamiks Ltd has announced an optional training module for Dinamiks, its online employee performance management, tool, to help user organisations gain Investors in People [IIP] accreditation by providing evidence that supports their submission.

Proven at a user that requested help in how to best meet IIP accreditation requirements, the module is available immediately.

The module lists every step that is required to gain IIP accreditation and produces an audit trail per employee of the outcome of each step taken. It is this audit trail that IIP accepts as proof of meeting its standards.

“The record of the audit trail is kept within Dinamiks on a secure server and is independent of a user’s own in-house data and analysis system, which helps to ensure that every aspect of the IIP accreditation process meets industry best practice standards,” says Shirley Barnes, Client Relationship Director, Dinamiks Ltd.

The module allows the user company to load all its training courses into Dinamiks. Any number of courses can then be linked to an employee’s performance appraisal form and associated with objectives that have to be met in order for accreditation to be attained.

In addition, the module complements Dinamiks’ existing employee performance planning [EDP] capability, which tracks all training, coaching and mentoring given to staff and links it to a performance objective, a competency or a value of the employer organisation.

Enhancements to wizards also announced

Dinamiks Ltd has also announced enhancements to selected wizards in Dinamiks to improve the user experience of the tool. The enhancements come into immediate effect and include workflow improvements and improvements to the end of year archive process.

Aster Maintenance purchases licence to use Dinamiks, the cloud–based employee performance management and appraisal tool

November 14th 2013.

Hartley Wintney [Hampshire] based Aster Maintenance Ltd, specialists in commercial building maintenance and engineering services, has purchased a licence to use Dinamiks, the cloud based, online employee performance management and appraisal tool.

UK-developed Dinamiks will allow management to roll out appraisals to staff via web access, and dispense with paper reports and long, drawn out appraisal meetings, and enable employees to look at – and add notes to – their individual performance appraisal reports at any time.  It will also allow management to monitor employee performance continuously, throughout the year, and provide essential training when and where required to help any under performing staff meet their targets and the company’s objectives.

Aster Maintenance Managing Director Mark Shadrake said, “Dinamiks will give our appraisals continuity and the benefit of conforming to industry best practice, which has been variable in the past due to different managers bringing in their own ideas about appraisals.”

He added, “Dinamiks will get staff more involved in the performance management and appraisal processes – and in a more friendly way, because it dispenses with the unknown element of the face to face interviews, which can be challenging and off-putting to staff, to the detriment of their appraisals.  We also expect it to help with bringing staff together more effectively as a team, because of the team-building that use of Dinamiks encourages.

“Finally, management will be able to compare individual performance over months and years, by looking at easy-to-understand displays in Dinamiks and using it to maintain or improve performance if necessary.”

About Aster Maintenance

Aster Maintenance offers complete maintenance services for all commercial and public building systems, gas and water metering and energy efficiency monitoring, to London, the South East and the South of England.

As well as ensuring buildings are safe and comfortable, the company makes regular planned preventative maintenance visits and carries out servicing of equipment to ensure legal compliance. The full range of Aster Maintenance’s services comprises heating, ventilation and air conditioning maintenance; fire safety equipment maintenance; security systems maintenance; gas and water metering; energy efficiency monitoring.

Dinamiks Ltd adds roles functionality to its world class employee performance management solution, Dinamiks

July 4th 2013.  Chichester, UK.    Dinamiks, the cloud-based employee performance management solution with users on four continents, has been enhanced through the addition of roles-led functionality, which gives management greater flexibility at employee appraisal time and throughout the year.

UK-developed Dinamiks features three roles, which between them (i)enable teams in remote locations to have a local manager in addition to a line manager at head office, who can support their personal development and manage local objectives, all of which can be aligned to the business goals;

(ii) allow a second manager to review, comment and provide a second level sign off – useful for businesses that like the assurance of a second  review as part of their sign off of the performance appraisal;

(iii) allow mentors to be associated with individuals within or across teams.  This functionality is useful because mentors can be very beneficial in sharing knowledge and skills to develop team members and teams.

Shirley Barnes, Client Relationship Director, Dinamiks Ltd, says, “The added roles functionality in Dinamiks comes in response to user demand  across continents.  We listen carefully to our users because they are at the forefront of using the cloud-based approach in HR and are keen to deepen their use of  Dinamiks across their organisations.  The new functionality has been beta tested with them and meets all their requirements.”

People Dynamics appointed channel partner for Dinamiks, the online employee performance management tool

May 2nd 2013  Preston-based People Dynamics Consultants Ltd,  specialists in HR and employee relations, has been appointed a channel partner for Dinamiks, the online employee performance management tool, by its UK developer, Dinamiks Ltd.

The partnership enables People Dynamics to expand its range of services and offer Dinamiks to clients and prospects regardless of their location. “End users don’t install the software or update it,” says People Dynamics Managing Director Chris Munnery, “because Dinamiks is a web-based, anywhere-anytime solution. It’s all done on the cloud.”

He sees Dinamiks fitting in well with the current phase of the business cycle. “Many companies which have managed to survive the economic downturn are now starting to  focus again on getting the best out of their staff, and getting their performance management in place before recruitment finally becomes a possibility again.”  Dinamiks, he adds, “has a place in every part of the cycle but provides a good launch pad for a business in the middle of it, which is where many firms are now.”

People Dynamics mainly provides its consultancy services in the North West and helps clients with employment compliance issues; recruitment and selection; HR strategy and operations; training; employee relations; reward; organisational development, and change management.

Shirley Barnes, Client Relationship Director, Dinamiks Ltd, welcomed People Dynamics as Dinamiks’ latest channel partner. “We are delighted to have Chris Munnery’s company on board and we look forward to working with him to grow our presence in the UK, with a focus in the North West and other markets.”

SureSet signs to use Dinamiks, the online employee performance management tool

January 17th 2013.   Market-leading permeable paving company SureSet UK Ltd is the latest in a string of new users of Dinamiks, the online employee performance management tool. The Warminster-based firm is to use Dinamiks with immediate effect after purchasing an annual licence.

Dinamiks will be utilised by SureSet to replace annual paper-based performance appraisals and roll out other performance-based initiatives.

Diane Crowther, Finance and HR Director, SureSet, explains why the manufacturer decided to go with the online, paperless approach. “We looked into employee performance systems while reviewing our HR procedures, because we knew that we tended to use our paper appraisal system just once a year.

“We felt that as a modern business we wanted to do much more with appraisals, and that an online system would provide greater flexibility, quick and easier input and near-instant analysis of the results.”

Crowther adds, “We researched suppliers and chose Dinamiks because we felt it provided the best value for money and the best feedback to our enquiries.

“SureSet will use Dinamiks to ensure that employees understand what is expected of them by setting clear targets for them within the system, updating when necessary, monitoring throughout the year and reviewing the targets at the end of 12 months,” she says. “We will use the job descriptions for each role to identify targets to be set.”

About SureSet

SureSet is the UK’s leading manufacturer of permeable, resin bound surfacing materials, and has been supplying high quality permeable paving for residential and commercial projects for more than 13 years.

The company provides a full supply and installation service nationwide. Its products are used in a wide range of  projects, including driveways, pathways, tree pits, schools, access roads, car parks, and swimming pools and interior applications.  SureSet logo

Dinamiks Ltd launches “Objectives Weighting” option for its online employee performance management and appraisal tool, Dinamiks, to give a clear view of the importance assigned to objectives

– Improves productivity and sharpens focus –

November 9th 2012. Dinamiks Ltd’s new “Objectives Weighting” option – launched November 8th 2012 for its online employee performance management and appraisal tool, Dinamiks – gives a clear view of the importance assigned to objectives by users, and of the financial or other value of a business objective.

“Objectives Weighting improves employee productivity and sharpens focus,” says Shirley Barnes, Client Relationship Director, Dinamiks Ltd. “If applied, it will improve the 80/20 rule, which is that 80 per cent of productivity is accounted for by only 20 per cent of staff. Organisations need to improve the productivity of a greater percentage of their employees if they want to grow their margins.”

Introduced by SME customer demand, Objectives Weighting allows the administrator of Dinamiks to assign a percentage-based weighting to an objective, giving both employer and employee, or group of employees, a better understanding of its value to the business and if, or when, it should be prioritised over other objectives.

The value can be financial, time to be spent on meeting the objective or complexity of the task.

The tool can also be used when calculating and assigning financial rewards across a group of individuals.

“Objectives Weighting is a powerful new tool in any move to improve employee and business performance,” says Barnes, “because it gives the direction and focus necessary for the most efficient way to meet an objective.”

Weighting is decided by management and/or by an individual employee or group of employees, and reflects the importance of the objective to the organisation.

Barnes adds, “Objectives Weighting is a breakthrough for online employee performance. For the first time, it gives a clearly understood, visual, real-time idea of the scale of the task faced by an employee or group of employees, to meet an objective.

“And when assigned to a timescale, Objectives Weighting gives a further idea of the value to the business of the objective or target, and the extent to which it should be prioritised over others. In addition, it will show if training, coaching or mentoring is required in order for an objective to be met, or met more quickly.”
